WHAT’S NEW
08/08/12 Super news! I just signed a contract for a follow-on book to The Other Soldier! Very, very happy that I get to tell Joe’s story. The book’s working title is Sleep at Joe’s—let’s see if this title sticks! :-) Tentative release date is July of 2013.
I’m also ecstatic to be working with Bemis Promotions on a brand spanking new professional website. Cuz me and MS Publisher? Just ain’t cutting’ it. I’m sure you’ve noticed the wonkiness. It’s because I’m clueless. Luckily Golden Heart winner Liz Bemis is not! :-) I’ll keep you posted!

06/14/12 I picked up Donna Alward’s The Rebel Rancher only to discover there’s a full-page ad in the back for The Other Soldier. And ON the back is a quote from the review I did last fall for Donna’s How a Cowboy Stole Her Heart—which is an awesome, awesome story. How exciting! Take a look:
The Rebel Rancher was so, so good—somehow I missed its predecessor, The Last Real Cowboy. But I’ll fix that soon enough! :-)
05/30/12 I received my box of books! My advanced author copies are just beeYOOtiful! Not that I’m biased or anything. :-) The typesetters did a fabulous job fitting in my verbosity. Bless my editor. :-) Now I’m madly writing notes and packing up books to send out as thank-yous for all of the support and encouragement and amazing critiques I’ve received over the years. But “thank you” will never be enough to express my gratitude to those who helped make my dream come true. I love you guys! <sniff> And you know who you are. Now hand me a tissue.
04/06/12 Guess what?! I have a cover! I don’t have my official super-duper high-resolution version yet, but one of my SuperRomance loop buddies posted this the other day and let me know I’m actually on Amazon! (thank you, Marcie!) So...I think this means that whole author thing might really be happening after all! :-) Harlequin’s art department did a stellar job, don’t you think? I love the distance between the two characters—that’s so symbolic. I’ll post the higher-quality version once I get my grubby little paws on it. I’m so excited! That’s my name over there! :-)
